I'm not sure if they ever shared more than parts. I read through a book
on the four companies trying to figure this out, but you said it simply.
The book would mention about Studebaker using a Hudson engine, or a Nash
using Packard driveline, etc.
It seems they all tried to help keep each other alive against the big
corporations. Eventually all failed except AMC, which was later bought
by Chrysler (after taxpayers saved them). :-)
