JT> we can't change the law anytime we like. Yes, you need enough support for the change, but like we just changed the gun laws recently, if there is that, the law can be changed. And that was in the more difficult situation of changing what wasnt even a federal responsibility too. You may have noticed that the law on curfews for kids was changed in NSW for example. That was basically done because enough thought that that was a useful change on those particular crims.
