It never fails that I find interest in a topic shortly after there's been
discussion on that topic, and I've purged all the back traffic on that
topic.

What I want to do is to be able to disable echomail compression for a single address.

What's up specifically:

I run FD 2.20, SQUISH v 1.0 (yes, I know it's old), and the GIGO 07/14/96
beta release.  I've been using FD and SQUISH for years, and GIGO for about
6 months, using it to process only email.  With FD, I'm running ArcMail
attach for my outbound echomail. I'm finally getting around to doing a
news/echomail conversion, and am still figuring out how to do it,
especially getting echomail properly scanned and sent on to my uucp link.

My best guess on this is to have SQUISH scan the echomail folder, produce
the necessary .PKT file, but for the copy going to the uucp gateway, not
purge the .PKT files from the outbound directory, and not produce an
ArcMail attach message.  From there, adjusting GIGO's configuration so that
it checks the SQUISH outbound directory and pick up the .PKT files.

How do I go about doing this?  Or is there a better/more effective/easier
way than using the method I've described?
