Ah, but that's the point. This started with your assertion that you
saw 4400 cps throughput with a fully-compressed file. I have no
doubt you saw 4400cps throughput. I have never disputed that. But
it wasn't a "fully compressed file", and _that_ is the point.
If you think it _isn't_ the point, I have seen throughput _much_
higher than that with 28.8 (in excess of 7000 cps) but that wasn't
with a compressed file.
