Sounds like the keyboard encoder (an IC ) is bad or your keyboard 
has a short ( something conductive fallen inside, it doesn't need 
to be a solid, pop, coffee or other drinks can be conductive ).
First thing, take apart keyboard and clean it.  If there is pop or 
other drink on the circuit board wash it off with clean water and 
dry.
