I'll tell you a little story. Back in the late 20's and early 30's I
had a 4 horse Johnson Kicker on the stern of an 18' Garwood Canoe.
I used to run that little beauty up and down Medina Lake all by my.
lonesome. The only time I ever had to paddle back to the slip was
when I stupidly ran her out of gas. Probably a bit early for you
but there was no such thing as a Mercury back in those days.
