It seems as though I have a problem with performance on my system - or
there is something here that I don't understand.

  * results from the only OS/2 system - highest recorded benchmark page.
I went to these sites and ran the benchmarks "while connected" as opposed
to local - if that matters.  Of all the published results, the only OS/2
one on display was from a system very similar to mine so I chose that as a
comparison.  Most of the Win95 and WinNT results were from exotic systems
but at the same time outperformed the OS/2 results that were on display.
What could cause my system to be so much slower?
System : Pentium PRO 200
Memory : 96MB
Video  : S3 1 MB
Cache  : 512KB
Client : Netscape v 2.02 980101
