Has it occurred to you that the dead person might not have ever wanted 
to be a mormon?  

What they are doing is reprehensible to the memory of the deceased and 
possibly tvewed the same by some, even all, of the deceased survivors.  

Face the facts:  Mormonism is one strange cult.
