Adjustable spanner. The handle was hollow and held an AA cell and a
small motor drove a little belt with gears to the spanner's screw. And a
2 position rocket switch on the top to select between open & close jaws.
Very much a pocket gadget but I could see a use for one sometimes. Kind
of like those electronic calipers... or laser levels... cool stuff!

Speaking of gadgets, someone gave me a pocket electric screw driver made
by Mastercraft with see through red tinted plastic. It's really small
and it won't even loosen a screw. What's the point? I'm going to use it
with a pin chuck to make tiny holes since it turns about 300 rpm.
