Beautiful country. We had least chipmunks that would come into camp while
we were eating and untie your boots if you didn't watch them close, a
badger that lived under the rock pile and wasn't happy about people getting
too close to her. Eagles in the sky during the day and the sound of
nighthawks after the sun went down. We found cougar spoor but never caught
sight of the cat.

Again, dry heat. yes, I know 120 +++ but it would be better for me than
having 2 seasons as we have here...hot and wet and cold and wet. Wet being
the operative word.
