RW>IOW, there ain't a snowball's chance in Southeast Asia
RW>in June of anyone one other then a democrat or
RW>republican winning the Presidential election this
RW>November.
This is true. But I'm REAL tired of voting for Republicans just to see
that they are all doing the same old song and dance the Democrates are,
but with different music.
RW>Even if every gun owner in the US voted for the same
RW>3rd party candidate he wouldn't come close. And we all
RW>know this won't happen because; 1) you ain't going to
RW>get 100% of any group to go vote. 2) you ain't going
RW>to get 100% of any group vote for one candidate because
RW>of one issue. 3) a large number of gun owners are like
RW>my dad, "They ain't going to take my gun, they just
RW>want to make it harder fore the criminals to get one."
This is also true. I'm sure that this is the same way that every
political party in this contry has come and gone - a little at a time.
Not everyone jumps on (or off) the band waggon at the same time. That
brings up and interesting question - at what point in time do you think
enough people will get fed-up (pardon the pun) with the present state of
the Gov't and vote for a third party candidate? It's not going to be
like a light switch. It won't happen over night. It's going to take
time.
RW>Having said that you have to look at the election this
RW>way. Either you are voting to keep Clinton in office
RW>or you are voting to elect Dole. There are no other
RW>true choices. If you vote for and support someone
RW>other then Dole and Clinton wins then you effectively
RW>voted FOR Clinton.  Think about who is on Bill's side;
RW>the Brady's, Finsten and the rest.
No I don't have to look at it *that way*. If I wanted Klinton in
office, I'd vote for him. If I wanted Dole in office, I'd vote for him.
The problem is, I don't want either one of them. Therefore, I not
voting for either one of them. Dole has already proven his worth by
voting for the "assault weapons ban" and not supporting its repeal. I
don't see him as any better than Klinton. I'm hoping that the only good
thing about Klinton being reelected is the push on White Water. I know
- wishful thinking.
RW>I agree the choice is like being deciding if you want
RW>to be shot in the stomach or in the brain. Given the
RW>those choices I will take the shot to the stomach and
RW>hope I survive as opposed to a brain shot which WILL be
RW>fatal.
I see both of them as sucking chest wounds. The only difference is
Klinton will lie about how he feels your pain.
RW> Remember: Freedom isn't Free!
True! But are you willing to pay the price?
