-> EH> We baptize *for* the dead. The person being baptized is 100% live -> EH> and they are being baptized for a dead relative. -> -> Has it occurred to you that the dead person might not have ever wanted -> to be a mormon? Now THERES a serious concern from an atheist! I love this echo! I confess it hadn't occurred to me...nor did it ever occur to me than an atheist is worrying about how a dead person feels about a baptism. It gets funnier the more I thing about it! :?-) Ok guys, lets force Mormonism on this guy! He's been dead for awhile just drifting, NOW we'll boot him into heaven, and some atheist on earth thinks he's going to complain? -> -> What they are doing is reprehensible to the memory of the deceased and -> possibly tvewed the same by some, even all, of the deceased survivors. -> -> Face the facts: Mormonism is one strange cult. Well, they don't drink and they don't smoke, and they have a two year supply of food on hand...yeppers...that lets me out for three reasons right there. -> ... Yes, it DOES require faith to actively disbelieve in Santa Claus. To disbelieve is not wrong. To disbelieve AND TEACH OTHERS SO should be punishable by death at LEAST. --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5* Origin: Doc's Place BBS Fido Since 1991 docsplace.tzo.com (1:123/140) SEEN-BY: 10/1 3 14/250 34/999 120/228 123/500 128/2 140/1 222/2 226/0 249/303 SEEN-BY: 250/306 261/20 38 100 1381 1404 1406 1418 266/1413 280/1027 320/119 SEEN-BY: 396/45 633/260 267 690/734 712/848 800/432 801/161 189 2222/700 SEEN-BY: 2320/100 105 2905/0 @PATH: 123/140 500 261/38 633/260 267 |
