On 04-10-09, CHINACAT said to TIM RICHARDSON: -> I wonder how many times she's been in Utah around June and July. Or ->August. -> -> Those from Utah don't need `aclimating' to SC. Its probably the other way -> around! CC>Would Wyoming count? In July? I've been in Wyoming many times, and all times of the year. Antelope all over the place! Spent many a day sitting at roadside bar-resturant-motel type places, waiting for the highway to re-open after a snow storm. Also been through Wyoming in July. You walk around in a tee shirt during the day, and wear a wool jacket at night. Sat in one place for four days once before they opened the highway again. I got to wondering if the tractor was going to run out of fuel just idling, before I could get to a fuel stop. Used to go through Wyoming sometimes twice a week. It ain't all that bad in the summer. You want hot? Try Gila Bend, Arizona in July. Or Dateland. Or Hyder. --- *Durango b301 #PE** Origin: Doc's Place BBS Fido Since 1991 docsplace.tzo.com (1:123/140) SEEN-BY: 10/1 3 14/250 34/999 120/228 123/500 128/2 140/1 222/2 226/0 249/303 SEEN-BY: 250/306 261/20 38 100 1381 1404 1406 1418 266/1413 280/1027 320/119 SEEN-BY: 396/45 633/260 267 690/734 712/848 800/432 801/161 189 2222/700 SEEN-BY: 2320/100 105 2905/0 @PATH: 123/140 500 261/38 633/260 267 |
