     Because of that double standard, a dogmatic view of an inerrant Bible
remains today, even as we enter the space age.  Popular preachers like Jerry
Falwell make the same claims for an inerrant Bible today. Falwell has said:

 

 "It is absolutely infallible, without error in all matters
pertaining to faith and practice, as in areas such as geography, science,
history, etc."
