As with collectibles, people also have very strong feelings about foods from
their past.  Sometimes these special recipes get lost. This section is to help
people who are looking for lost recipes from their past.  If you submit a
request, please include the geographical region where you tasted the recipe.

just publish it here.

Carol T sent in another great recipe - thank you Carol!

Gluten-Free  Meatloaf

1 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef 1/2 cup crushed gluten free cracker crumbs
2 tablespoons milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 small onion, finely chopped (1/3 cup) 1 egg

1/2 cup gluten free ketchup

Heat oven to 450+#F. In large bowl, combine all meatloaf ingredients. Spread
mixture in ungreased 8x4- or 9x5-inch loaf pan.  Bake uncovered for 30 minutes
take out of oven spread ketchup on top return to oven bake another 30-35
minutes.  Let stand 5 minutes before slicing.

email from one of our readers about it: "omg  can't believe someone else had a
dad that did this recipe and called it the same and made it the same.  yep my
Dad was ww11 also. Haven't made this in quite awhile.  thanks for bringing back
great memories and a easy recipe.  Lyle"
