There is actually a play call "Fortinbras" by Lee Blessing which picks 
up the story at the end of Hamlet. It's very amusing.  The ghosts of all 
of the recently deceased characters are still lurking about the castle; 
Fortinbras not only has to deal with running Denmark, but with the 
spirits of the recently deceased.  It has a bit of political and social 
commentary as well (it's very modern--the ghost of Hamlet is stuck 
inside a TV for a while).  I like it.
