I saw one similar to that, c1970 in a San Diego El Cajon Blvd bar. It was
a Coors Beer sign and it had a mountain stream in motion keeping time with
the flashing lights. That was how it was the night before I sobered up and
asked the bartender where the on/off switch was. He told me that there was
no on/off switch...and his Cheshire Cat smile wasn't as wide as it was the
night before, either. "Oh well, I'll have whatever it was I was drinking
(and smoking) last night, then."
