And thats very dependant on whos working the counter when you walk in.  I
had one guy once tell me it was against policy to give me the part numbers
he looked up, and refused to give me the part numbers.
Same dealership, I had a guy who was all gung ho about digging into the old
stuff and leafing through the pages, and even let ME flip some pages. =-)
One of those rare moments.
If I remember correctly (gotta go to another computer to find out for sure)
the GM Performance Parts catalog (U.S only, not available in Canada
unfortuneately...You can guess where I am..) has a CD Rom available for a
very reasonable price (less than 20 bucks) of some set of information. Might
be worth looking into. Its in on of the covers of the catalog. And also
in the PDF version of the catalog you can get from the GM performance parts
web site.
