The Recordable is just that. It only records to the CD. After you have
recorded, you can not erase, or rewrite on that CD. While the Rewritable
allows you to erase, and rewrite on the same CD.
I here that some recordables have a tendonsy to screw up while writing
data, and then that CD is no more than a coaster, or "Ninja Death Disk". If
it
happens on a rewritable, you can always start over.
