Both of those small blocks are pretty good depending on the model. I had
several 327 V-8's when I was younger and only one was a vette engine
that hauled. Same with the 350 V-8, many are mild, justa few are nice.

Major bummer, blown gasket maybe? Where was the engine before you owned

Know what you mean, in the past in another town I had a 2 1/2 car garage
to do my work. I needed it to take care of the 2 race cars I had at one
time, (nothing wild, just a Stocker and a SS).
