Hello Joe.
I have a game that I think is due to be re-made with better technologies and
programming. It's produced by EA ( you know them, ) and for it's age,
it absolutely rocks my socks.
SEALTEAM is the name. I have it on a 10pack CD-ROM from EA
I think that 3dR and Apogee in general could use this game as inspiration
for a sequel.
I began to type a hi-lights list for you but backspaced it all. There is
simply too much to list. The game is great in it's complexity and depth.
and unmatched in accuracy and research.

No Exaggeration
Some of the things that I would like to see improved would be:
The Graphics
In the game they are low Res and they use that so you can't ID
those few dark pixels dancing until they shoot at you. I would
like to see hi-res, at least 600x800x32k. Then you could add
fog and mist and rain to hide your troops rather than taking
advantage of the lo-res to hide distant objects.
Some of the graphics use loop delays as opposed to event delays.
This means that the faster the computer, the shorter the delay.
I have a DX2/66... it's too fast for some of the Graphics to
display properly. (I use the Turbo switch to dummy down to 25MHz)
The Terrain
In this game everything is flat as a board. At least the
water is somewhat real. You drop a foot or two in perspective
when on water. I need not explain what terrain can add to a game.
Wolfenstien is to Quake what SealTeam is to your Creation.
Game Elements
In SealTeam, you can see inside the polygon buildings but can't
enter them. Not that you could gain anything by entering them,
they are totally devoid of decoration and content.
Textures
Wolfenstien has better textures. The game would improve 10 fold if
you applied some texture magic to this game. Hell a little texture
fairy dust and you've improved it a lot.
I could go on and on. If your interested send me some email at...
