The Stingers are good; I use them. There is a lack of good "defensive"
loads for the .22LR guns. I had some explosive tipped rounds (years
ago), but the stingers are pretty good. If Glaser made a Safety Slug
round in .22LR, I would go with that, but I am unaware of it, if it is
made. I would (on the knowledge that I have) say that you should stick
with Stingers, and fire 4 rounds rather than 1. I carry a .380 in the
hotter months, and have trained to doubletap every time. I would think
that 4 shots with Stingers would be adequate. Take care.
