subject: QBE Is over for the year

Let's hope that I can explain this and not confuse everyone. Peggy Hood is
the winner for the QBE for the month of October. It is now the 9th of
October and I don't expect that Peggy will get her choice posted for a few
days
yet. That is fine. This will be the LAST QBE WIN for the 1997 calender
year. Everyone needs to go ahead and make Peggy's block and send it to her.
I
would like for her to pick the next winner on November 10th. That winner
will have the dubious honor of being the first winner for the 1998 year.
hat
will give them over a month to decide what they want. The January winner
may post their choice for January as early as December 26th (let's wait till
Christmas is over by one day, okay?).

This means that the QBE is going on hiatus till January 1st as of November
1st. This will give everyone time to work on those Christmas projects and
time to be with friends and family in this soon-to-be busy time of the year.

Kathy Oganezov and I have already spoken on this and the MQBE is also going
on hiatus at the end of October. So, the only exchange that will be running
over the holidays here on Crafting is the Christmas ornaments-joint echo
exchange and Kathy's Christmas block exchange.

Hope that I have managed to say this without confusing everyone. Here is
the timetable for the rest of the year:

October-Peggy Hood wins QBE, Sylvia Lewis wins MQBE
November by the 10th-Peggy and Sylvia draw for January winners of QBE,
MQBE, both exchanges go on hiatus
November-December-Kathy's Christmas block exchange
December 26th-earliest date for January 1998 winners of QBE and MQBE to
post their choices for their win
January 1st, 1998- QBE and MQBE start back up

For the newbies out there, the hiatus is something that we do each year.
We have found that winners at this time of the year get fewer blocks due to
everyone being so busy with holiday happenings. Thus the hiatus.
Participate this month and give Peggy and Sylvia a good win then join us
again in
January for more fun in the QBE and the MQBE!
