| subject: | Hi from Phoenix, Arizona |
Replying to a message from Bjoern Forsstroem 2:203/614.61 to THOMAS SALLAWAY, About Hi from Phoenix, Arizona, On Thu May 22 2003 TS> I hope the week is going well for you all and it is so far here. It tied TS> the high yesterday here. It was 107 here yesterday and soon the 110 days TS> will be here. It has been a while since I've sent replies from a BBS BF> Hey, take a second to explain this to non English-speeking member. BF> "It tied the high......." some kind of heat record? BF> 107, is that F? We use C and I don't have a converter to C in hand. Yes 107F = 42C rounded up to the nearest degree. 110 days means temperatures in the 110F+ range. 110F = 44C rounded up to the nearest degree. That will be the norm for the next 3 months or so. Hope this helps. Keep us posted. We are a fine board trying to make it better. http://www.pris.bc.ca/ghannah ghannah{at}pris.bc.ca Cheers!
