This was just the voicing of an individual participant's opinion.
 
It is absolutely improper to run an election, participate in it as a candidate
and be the judge of any potential complaint/objection that might involve
oneself.
 
A particular person's achievements are not swept under the table, merely the
procedures involving this election. You want to sweep "that" under the table?
