What sort of inconsistancies?
EchoFix should do the trick for you I think. It doesn't change the files, but 
creates a new file instead.
F'req ECHOFIX here, or look for it on the Maxmius Home page (sorry, don't 
know the addy), or look for ECF200.ZIP somewhere local.
