He's gutting it through at this point.  IMHO it's becuase:

- He's the Champion
- He really loves doing this stuff.
- He wants to work with Lesnar (which is likely why he'll drop the title 
in a match with Lesnar last week)
- He's fortunate enough to have an injury that will allow him to be 
written out, albeit quickly, and not have to pull an Edge.
