purposes, even if it was in the wrong country.

Alberta, Canada was named after Prince Albert of England, Queen
Victoria's husband in the 19th century.

Albert is a common man's name here; Alberta is much rarer but not
unknown.

Victoria on Vancouver Island in the Pacific Ocean is 6150 km west of
Halifax which is on the Atlantic Ocean. And Yellowknife is 2100 km north
of the American border.
