subject: Your kids

Hi Wendy,
WB> Hehehe, they will when they meet someone they can really love
WB> and who will love them and cherish them back. Never saw it
WB> fail. So now, you and Steve are getting some sons in the family!
Mike is one of the sweetest guys I've ever met. He's a football player
for Central Oklahoma U. but is actually a teddy bear. It's funny; we
didn't have any sons but our one son in law is named David, looks like
the other will be Michael. Those are the names of Steve's brothers too.
RH> thing for the kids. They are willing to wait because they know it will
RH> be better if they do.
WB> They're very smart. Many kids are impatient and rush into things
WB> but yours seem to have learned a lot from you guys.
Our girls have seen long lasting marriages in both families; my parents
celebrated #47 this year, Steve's will celebrate #48. The girls know
that divorce is not an option to be lightly considered--both from what
we've taught them and our church's teaching.
WB> rivers in this part of the state, I've heard. I'm not that fond
WB> of Oklahoma but, well, this is where Tom is and this is where I
WB> will stay till he wants to leave, if ever.
Well, it's a case of "I'll go where you go." I wanted to go to Korea
with Steve but it wasn't the best idea for all.
WB> A lot of Texas is humid. You would never believe that either if
WB> you hadn't been there. When I lived in Dallas I was in a
WB> state of perpetual wilt most of the time!
We've lived in San Angelo and Fort Hood so I knew it would be humid in
San Antonio. Just that after living in AZ for 5 years, it seemed to be
worse than I remembered.
WB> At that time most of my crafting was either knitting or crochet
WB> and the yarn stuck to me so badly I could hardly stand to get it
WB> out and work on anything. I'd be covered with little bits of
WB> fuzzies and the strands would just stick to me so I couldn't go
WB> very far without untangling myself. It wasn't fun!
That must have looked cute! I've been covered with little snips of
cross stitch thread or fabric from whatever project I've had going.
What's bad sometimes is when I cut a thread, then get up for something &
come back and not find the thread. It's usually stuck on my jeans or
something. I'm doing a lined jumper for Rachel; the lining seems to
shred easily along the cut edge so I'm pinking them and finding little
bit of pinked fabric all over the place.
Catch you later,
Ruth
