I watched my dad wash his face more than twice a day and felt that was the
reason why his face began to wrinkle prematurely. I'm now 8 years older
than he was when his face began to wrinkle and mine has yet to get
started in earnest.

That's also why I don't wash my hair more than once a week. It's still as
fine as it was when I was 25, although it has turned white in the last ten
years.
