Enough of us sysops in town bugged our ISP so that they have now dropped to 
28.8 untill USR releases a new Flashrom.  (they listen to us because we are 
their main form of advertising, we recomend users to go with them).

yuppers.  a PowerMac 7600. (I also have a supraFaxmodem 33.6i in my 286, but 
it is still running the pre-release 33.6 code).

I beleive that the problem lies with USR, as i only have problems with 
certain modems.
