I have a GE model TFF4NC,upright, side by side freezer
/refrigerator s/n 210698, that has a re-occurring problem
of the freezer drain becoming blocked with a dry, white
substance; so that eventually the catch area in the bottom
of the freezer for the drain becomes filled with ice from
previous automatic defrosting, and eventually overruns out
onto the floor.
I have cleaned out the rubber "S trap" drain hose several
times and tried preventing the white substance accumulation
with doses of disinfectate.
There must be a better and more permanent cure; please.
Ciao, Ack.
