I was hoping you had some insight to add... (-:

RW> This incident and the ensuing policy complaint filed by Zorch and

RW> after this that Hallford compiled a "Sysops Rights"
document, compiled a
RW> "Syops Nodelist" and pissed off Satti. Whereupon, he, the

I think I remember seeing the "SysOps Rights" document. It's
been awhile, but I think it's in one of the articles.

RW> The next few issues of Fidonews after this one should be very
RW> interesting, If Doc Logger kept up his coverage of this. BTW, the horse
RW> boarding incident is true, as told to be thru the horses' mouth. :o)

I've never known him to give up on anything he could have some fun with and
especially those incidents he knew to be unjust. I couldn't get a node
number unless I agreed to abide ny P4. On the surface, it seemed to be an
okay document, but after awhile I learned how things were done, how people
attained their elflord posts, etc. I should have said something at the
time, but I was too engrossed in reading what Doc wrote about various
situations and he is a much better writer than I.

Our net (the now defunct 384) didn't have CRP. After it and my life here
crumbled and I moved across the lake to Mandeville, the N3828C had a CRP.
When John Woodward (Souvestre's buddy) moved across the lake to Mandeville
and became the N3828EC, the CRP was discontinued. I believe the old N3828C
was the moderator of FN_SYSOP for a year (Rob Ferrara). Ferrara left
Fidonet for Fantasy Football (of all things) and Wodward became the NC and
I became the NEC and then the REC, only to be unilaterilly beheaded by Matt
Bedynek, the then R19C, whom I didn't exactly see eye-to-eye with. I
really miss the guy Bedynek succeeded. He was aces in my book.

I vaguely remember the horse boarding incident and thought the whole thing
was foolish and was glad I didn't live in CA. (-:

Regards,

Roger
