| subject: | Running FREEDOS on Raspbery Pi |
Hello All, I don't know how many people out there have a Raspberry Pi, but I thought I'd put this out there. I run Mystic BBS on my Raspberry Pi, and until now, I could not run dos doors. Most Sysops who run linux have to run dosemu to emulate dos. But dosemu has not been ported to run on the RPi yet. So, dosemu is not an option for RPi. But, I have discovered a new app called 8986tiny that is a dos emulator that runs freedos.... on the Raspberry Pi! If you run raspbian, you can simply do a 'apt-get install 8086tiny', then run it from anywhere as '8086tiny' I thought you would like to know. Enjoy!
