As Bible-believing Christians, we already know what lies ahead insofar as
the 666/Mark of the Beast system is concerned. After all, God's Word makes
it rather plain. Thus it comes as no surprise that occasionally, even the
secular mass media reveals what lies ahead in our not-so-distant future.
Such is the case with an article I was just reading in the New York Times
called "At Checkout, More Ways to Avoid Cash or Plastic".

While Big Business tries to cast these developments in the "positive" light
of making it easier and more convenient for consumers to pay for things,
what this is REALLY about is finding new ways to encourage more people to
part with their cash. In other words, Big Business wants to make it as easy
as possible for you to spend your hard-earned cash, so that they can
continue to enrich themselves further. It is all a game to entice you to
spend, spend, spend; even spend yourself into deep debt, so that they can
hit you with interest.

But the really dark side to all of this, as I've pointed out before in my
articles which discuss this topic, is that they just aren't trying to make
it as easy and convenient as possible for people to spend their cash, they
are purposely designing their new system so that it will be increasingly
INCONVENIENT for those people who refuse to accept this new cashless
technology -- such as Christians who know where this is all eventually
headed. In my 666 articles I referred to this as a "campaign of
inconvenience".

Thus, the day will eventually arrive when we won't be able to buy or sell,
pay our rent or utility bills, or do anything else that requires money,
UNLESS we join their damnable Mark of the Beast system. THAT is where this
is all headed. We will either follow the worldly herd, or become societal
outcasts living on the edge, just waiting for Christ's Return, and surviving
as best we can by God's Grace.

But we need to remember that it's not all just going to happen in one day
and suddenly be here. Bam! The Mark of the Beast system is here! No; that
would obviously alarm too many people. So, as I have stated before, they are
gradually introducing the system, year-by-year, and making people more
reliant on credit cards, debit cards, online cashless payments, RFID chips,
etc.

By the time most people realize what is going on, it will be too late. They
will be so dependent on the 666 system, that there won't be an easy way to
pull out of it, without suffering some major inconveniences.

Anyway, the following article makes it VERY clear that Big Business wants to
totally do away with cash. For example, the president of PayPal states:

"What we're trying to do and what we think is very important is to displace
the use of cash or checks".

Can it be any clearer than that?

But aside from the spiritual dangers of accepting the Mark of the Beast
system, there is another danger; and that is this:

When there is no longer any physical money -- that is, bills and coinage --
it will make government and Big Business even less accountable to the
people. Everything will just be numbers in a computer, and it is becoming
more and more that way with each passing year. Numbers in a computer can
easily be manipulated and changed. Virtual profits can be created which do
not really exist. Bank balances can be changed. There will be no real
accountability.

Furthermore, your life savings -- or even your very identity -- could easily
be wiped out; either on purpose if you refuse to go along with the system,
or perhaps even due to a simple clerical error.

Think about it. In the world of the not-too-distant future, you could become
nobody, with nothing, if that is what the power elite wants to happen to
you.
