Some of the odd restrictions I had to work under maintaining one customer's
360 CPU with OEM memory.
Why IBM replaced the 155 and 165 with the 158 and 168 as soon as they did.
Why they had so many variants of one basic disk drive mechanism (the 2314).
Why they dropped BSC protocol in favour of SDLC, and why they didn't just use HDLC.
When I did my product training on NCP and VTAM, wondering why the
functionality appeared to be non-optimally split between the units.
