Yes, your probably right. I tried it today cutting a 1/16" hole in
plastic and it took a while. But maybe it was more for lack of torque
than speed. ;-)

Like I said I don't see the point of making a screwdriver without
enough torque to even set a little mouse trap. I tried to take the
plastic back shell off a TV with it, after first loosening the screws,
and had to resort to the old B&D driver after getting one screw about
half way out.
