  That's the reason why I'm conducting the moderator election. Jerry was the 
last moderator of record for C_PlusPlus, but his local sysop shut down and he 
lost his FidoNet feed almost overnight (he was a point, not a sysop).
  Subsequent efforts on his part failed to turn up an economically and/or 
technically viable FidoNet connection, so he's gone. I do have his email 
address which I can send you, but I don't want to post it publicly without 
his consent.
