Mr Spock was my hero before Alanon. And on bad days I still do a good
imitiation of him. answering with yes or no and shutting up in perfect
logic.
The 4 kids remember but it was before my time. Phil dressed up as
Spock for Halloween one year. I married Spock; there;s a Data in my
life now, but I can't envision ever having a relationship with anyone
as fluid as Odo.
As you can tell me and several friends are sci fi fans.
Thank God Phil was emotionally available to me. I would discuss a
solution with my sponsors and present it to Phil. He would get angry
(I do not handle anger well) and give me what I asked for in the
morning after he thought it over.
He ran a BBS.
I could ask for and get his presence in the living room 15 min. after
I asked. That gave him time to get to a stoppping place on the computer
 
Phil had a massive heart attack in 11/86. It killed a third of his
heart. He could only work partime too.
It was crazy making-the heart MD said phil could work fulltime and
Phil said he couldn't. And I didn';t know WHO to believe.
