I think it is a good idea to re-state my original problem.

I could not proceed in my installation of openxp until I did something to get
past the archivers.

Using any of them to proceed did not work.

Someone suggested how I could get around compression and that did work.

But my Boss Node uses compression and I have bothered him enough with asking
for previous install advice.

The fact Winpoint worked right out of the box was a real blessing.

I am excited at the prospect of using OpenXP.

I will try 7zip on my system.

If I have to rebuild my system then that means backing up a whole bunch of
crap.[
