Its also the Supreme Law of the Land!
Article VI of the Constitution states: "This Constitution, and the laws of
the United States which shall be made IN PURSUANCE THEREOF; and all
treaties made, or which shall be made, under the authority of the United
States, shall be the supreme law of the land."
"A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free
state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be
INFRINGED." -- 2nd Article of the Bill of Rights, US Constitution
NFA '34 "law" - First you have to pay $200 tax to buy a machinegun.
GCA '68 "law" - But first you must fill out a yellow form. Your dealer has
to have a Federal liscense. You can't buy out of state.
Brady "law" - But first you have to wait.
"Crime" Bill "law" - You can't have any military rifles or magazines.
"When a legislature undertakes to proscribe the exercise of a
citizens Constitutional rights it acts lawlessly, and the citizen
can take matters into his own hands and proceed on the basis that
such a law is no law at all." -- Justice William O. Douglas
