What is your software? cygwin?

For cygwin ssh-client: run ssh-keygen and create *dsa* keys (default
names - id_dsa & id_dsa.pub) - this was done by 'ssh-keygen -t dsa'.
Then put _public_key_ (id_dsa.pub) to your personal sourceforge page (see
help/faq at sf). After this try: ssh yourname{at}shell.sf.net. If all work,
you will see shell prompt immediatly (without prompt for password). SSH
access to CVS will be activated at next 24 hours.

Btw, you may use WinCVS client + putty under Windows.
Good night! /_Pavel_/
