Hi Alan,

On 2020-04-22 20:22:56, you wrote to all:

I get about the same weird result as August:

===
d:\com\inbound>"c:\Program Files\7-Zip\7z.exe" e NODELIST.Z08

7-Zip 19.00 (x64) : Copyright (c) 1999-2018 Igor Pavlov : 2019-02-21

Scanning the drive for archives:
1 file, 52554 bytes (52 KiB)

Extracting archive: NODELIST.Z08

ERROR = Missing volume : NODELIST.ZIP

Would you like to replace the existing file:
  Path:     .\NODELIST.108
  Size:     165590 bytes (162 KiB)
  Modified: 2020-04-17 00:25:02
with the file from archive:
  Path:     NODELIST.108
  Size:     165590 bytes (162 KiB)
  Modified: 2020-04-17 00:25:02
? (Y)es / (N)o / (A)lways / (S)kip all / A(u)to rename all / (Q)uit? q

But afterwards there is a correct unpacked NODELIST.108 file.

When I rename the NODELIST.Z08 to NODELIST.ZIP, it unpacks without complaining:

===
d:\com\inbound>"c:\Program Files\7-Zip\7z.exe" e NODELIST.ZIP

7-Zip 19.00 (x64) : Copyright (c) 1999-2018 Igor Pavlov : 2019-02-21

Scanning the drive for archives:
1 file, 52554 bytes (52 KiB)

Extracting archive: NODELIST.ZIP
--
Path = NODELIST.ZIP
Type = zip
Physical Size = 52554

Everything is Ok

Size:       165590
Compressed: 52554
===

So it seems 7z gets confused by the .Z08 extension. It probably thinks it's
file 8 in a multiple file archive...

Bye, Wilfred.
