Villeneuve drives Zhuhai circuit

(23-Oct-98) - Jacques Villeneuve visited the Circuit of Zhuhai today. This
circuit will almost for sure host the first Chinese Grand Prix on March 21
1999.

The Canadian was in China for a sponsor call by Winfield and was asked by
the organisation of the Grand Prix to drive a few laps around the circuit.
Villeneuve was planned to a few laps in a Formula One car but today he
drove three laps in a Renault Spider, 2 liter - 16 valve open sport car
which is normally used in the European Renault Spider Cup.

Villeneuve said that the track was very easy to accommodate to as it is a
simple track, wide, and with good run-of areas.
