   A great newspaper cartoonist, I think it was Al Capp, thought of this 
nearly 50 years ago - he had a character named Fearless Fosdick, a cop, of 
course, who somehow had learned of a poisoned can of beans in his area.  In 
his zeal to assure that nobody was poisoned, he spent a lot of time shooting 
the heads of anyone he found eating beans, or even looking longingly at 
them....
   I sure hope that congresscritters don't remember this as well as I do...
