Hi Ruth!
-=> Quoting Ruth Haffly to Wendy Buchanan <=-
RH> This all happended so fast! She had several boyfriends last school
RH> year but they seem so superficial now. Just got back last night from
Hehehe, they will when they meet someone they can really love
and who will love them and cherish them back. Never saw it
fail. So now, you and Steve are getting some sons in the family!
RH> San Antonio for David's (our son in law) graduation from Air Force
RH> basic training; Mike and his mom came too. She commented on how
RH> different Deborah is from his previous girlfriends; this is the real
RH> thing for the kids. They are willing to wait because they know it will
RH> be better if they do.
They're very smart. Many kids are impatient and rush into things
but yours seem to have learned a lot from you guys.
RH> I never would have thought that OK would have so much of a water based
RH> recreation; we went thru part of the state on our way out here and it
RH> seemed like TX and AZ. San Antonio was so humid that I felt like
RH> wilting.
It never was very humid here though till they dammed up so many
rivers in this part of the state, I've heard. I'm not that fond
of Oklahoma but, well, this is where Tom is and this is where I
will stay till he wants to leave, if ever.
A lot of Texas is humid. You would never believe that either if
you hadn't been there. When I lived in Dallas I was in a
state of perpetual wilt most of the time!
At that time most of my crafting was either knitting or crochet
and the yarn stuck to me so badly I could hardly stand to get it
out and work on anything. I'd be covered with little bits of
fuzzies and the strands would just stick to me so I couldn't go
very far without untangling myself. It wasn't fun!
LadyBear Hugs,
Wendy
