I'd take one on with a Marlin lever action .45/70, using modern nitro
powder. The major problem would be that the magazine only holds 4 rounds.
If you miss even one shot, you may be in trouble. Just in case, I'd also
pack my Ruger (I know you hate them) .44 magnum SAA.
