Actually, I think you are seriously mistaken.  There have been MANY 
discussions
about DAT, ADAT, miking, amping, biamping, drivers, boards, s/n ratios, 
mixdown, EQ, and many other topics involved in Professional Audio.  This is a 
small lull in the discussions.  The moderator's problems had to do with local 
fidonet politics.
