I didn't know what it was all about back then, but I was feeling flattered
that I looked old enough.  Must have been my height.

I would think not.  During my other lifetime here, I was canvassing a
commercial neighborhood for a friend running for Parish President.  I
walked into a furniture store and got to talking to the owner and he told
me he flew a B-17 and was shot down over enemy territory.  When I noticed
the expression on his face grew ashen, I changed the suject.  He looked in
pain just remembering his time as a POW and I felt like two cents for
broaching the subject.
