RW>RW>> Ha! I felt lucky if I had a steel penny. RW>RN> And we thought those things were made of lead. (-: RW> They always demonstrated those brushes. Huh? I'm lost. RW>RN> When I was about 10, I had a "sailor suit and cap" and was dressed RW> I did too, but I was about 7...got a Xmas movie with me handing out RW> packages in my navy suit. We couldn't afford to do that. RW>RN> that way during Mardi Gras that year. Standing on Canal St near the RW>RN> Lowe's State Theater, two adult gals tried to pick me up. WOW! RW> You mean you did't let them!? I didn't know what it was all about back then, but I was feeling flattered that I looked old enough. Must have been my height. RW> Gotta wait for Monty to catch up, ya know. And that's the way it was... RW> One would think. I had an uncle in the Marines who was there and it was RW> no picnic according to him. He wouldn't talk about it much, except to say RW> that you really didn't want to know. I would think not. During my other lifetime here, I was canvassing a commercial neighborhood for a friend running for Parish President. I walked into a furniture store and got to talking to the owner and he told me he flew a B-17 and was shot down over enemy territory. When I noticed the expression on his face grew ashen, I changed the suject. He looked in pain just remembering his time as a POW and I felt like two cents for broaching the subject. RW>RN> Just take a white one and color it silver. RW> I'll make sure that special part of memory isn't erased. Save it under a different name. (-: Regards, Roger ... I donated my cat to the local Chinese restaurant. --- D'Bridge 3.31* Origin: NCS BBS (1:3828/7) SEEN-BY: 10/1 3 11/201 331 34/999 120/228 123/500 128/0 187 140/1 222/2 226/0 SEEN-BY: 249/303 250/306 261/20 38 100 1381 1404 1406 1418 266/1413 280/1027 SEEN-BY: 320/119 396/45 633/260 267 712/848 801/161 189 2222/700 2320/100 105 SEEN-BY: 5030/1256 @PATH: 3828/7 140/1 261/38 633/260 267 |
