Yes, they do when they are pre-teen and teenagers.    Try
telling them that smoking will kill them, guns will kill them if
they play with them, and they just laugh and say, "Not ME!"  If
they even hear you...most of them tend to tune out adult advice
for the most part.
Kids don't understand "careful" very well.  That's why you have
so many wild teenage drivers.

Pat, I am scared half to death to even take a shower, I've fallen
so many times.  My feet are partly numb, most of the time, and it
makes it even more dangerous.

Yeah, that hydroplaning will getcha every time!    And you know
the old saying "The bigger they are, the harder they fall?"  Well,
I'm here to tell you, it's true!  When you fall so hard you hurt too
badly to sit up and craft, it's time for some handles in the shower!
